Secondary home sales remained robust and resilient with more than 1,000 units exchanged hands for the past few months. Buyers who have sold their homes would prefer to get a replacement home from the resale market as most new launches are under development and projects that launch after the “circuit-breaker” will achieve completion after 2024 and many do not want to wait till then. Delays in construction makes resale properties more attractive and we will continue to see such trend in the next few months. This is also due to the recent latest measure implemented on 28-09-2020 on developers reissuing options to shift some buyers to explore the resale property market instead of new launches.
